im listening the new Gorgoroth album, Quantos Posunt ad Satanitatem Trahunt, and i feel very disappointed. first, the drums sound very soft and with zero creativity, its not like the sound when you smash a can of coca cola that previous albums had... now its something like all this "melodic and profesional " bands.
Second, where are all the characteristic riffs? i remember the melodies form the past albums as the perfect mix between evil hate , melancholic thoughts and the feeling of very deep and dark revenge, but now all is very "doom" and paused, theres no speed. the only track that keeps some past atmosphere is "Satan- Prometheus" (the best song!).
The voice is something to remark, it has something form the old Satyricon and i really like it.
